The Dark Continent model is the finest American made bolt action hunting rifle, especially for heavy and dangerous game. This rifle features an Exhibition Grade walnut stock with exquisite tiger stiped grain, hand-rubbed oil-finish, hand-cut wrap checkering with shadowline cheekpiece, steel gripcap, ebony forend tip, black Decelerator recoil pad, Ken Howell inlet swivels, and integral mercury recoil reducer. The action is a magnum length controlled feed Mauser type action with controlled round feeding, full length claw extractor and 3-position safety, jeweled bolt, and drop-belly magazine with hinged steel floorplate and 4+1 capacity. The satin blued 24" premium barrel features a quarter rib with banded hooded front sight and single blade express sight, and barrel band forward swivel stud. Rifle is brand new and comes in Parkwest logo SKB i-Series rolling waterproof carry case. Talley mounts and 30mm rings are included.  Rifle was sighted in at 50 yards with open sights using 300-Grain Barnes TSX ammunition.  Factory target group is .440 inches.
